Novalink Solutions LLC is seeking an NSX Administrator to design, deploy, and manage VMware NSX environments in a large enterprise setting. The role emphasizes stability, security, and performance for virtualized networks while collaborating with security and operations teams.

You will implement micro‑segmentation, automation, and ongoing lifecycle management, contributing to data center modernization initiatives and incident response readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong experience administering VMware NSX‑T in enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including VLANs, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN.
• Hands‑on experience with vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and related VMware ecosystem technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex networking and virtualization issues across multiple layers.
• Familiarity with network security best practices and micro segmentation design.
• Experience with automation/scripting using PowerShell/PowerCLI, Python, or REST APIs.
• VMware certifications such as VCP‑NV, VCAP‑NV, or equivalent hands on expertise.
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with monitoring tools (vRealize Network Insight, Aria Operations, SolarWinds, Splunk).

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The NSX Administrator is responsible for the design, deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of VMware NSX environments. This role ensures the stability, security, and performance of virtualized network infrastructure while collaborating closely with security, systems, and network teams. The NSX Administrator also provides advanced troubleshooting, develops automation to streamline operations, and supports overall data center modernization initiatives.
