Job summary

The Kraft Group & Affiliates is seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team in South Foxboro, MA. You will be responsible for the complete setup and breakdown of catering events, ensuring high-quality service standards are met. Candidates must have 2 years of experience in high-volume catering or full-service dining, be able to communicate effectively, and possess the ability to lift large weights. A flexible schedule is essential, as roles will include evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Set-up all catered events thoroughly and accurately.
• Follow direction with attention to detail in event setups.

• Break-down and clean up all catering supplies after events.
• Complete assigned tasks in various catering environments.

Job description

SUMMARY

Fully stages all necessary catering equipment and supplies needed for a complete set up of a function.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the thorough and accurate set-up of all catered events
• Ability to carefully follow direction with care to all details and department standards paying special attention to Banquet Event Orders and Pull Sheets to ensure accuracy of all event set ups.
• Ability to meet all service standards including, but not limited to, tray carrying, wine service, table service and buffet service
• Thoroughly break-down and clean up all catering equipment and supplies following events, ensuring proper care and storage of all equipment, supplies, food and beverage
• Complete tasks in a variety of environment as assigned by management to include indoor and outdoor catering throughout the property
• Communicate any and all special requests and needs to management that are expressed by client during set up time
• Special projects and assignments as business dictate

• Flexible schedule is required as early morning, late evenings, nights, weekends and holidays may be required
• Ability to fully commit to all home football games and other full stadium events
• 2 years' experience in high volume catering or full service dining
• Knowledge of food service and table standards
