Job summary

Emler Swim School in Dallas is seeking a motivated swim instructor to teach life-saving water safety skills in a fun, supportive environment. You’ll be the heart of the student experience, guiding children from 6 months to 12 years through engaging lessons and building lasting confidence.

No experience? No problem—paid training is provided. You’ll have set evening and weekend shifts, opportunities to grow with a team that values mentorship, teamwork, and community impact.

Qualifications

• Must love working with kids and bring positive energy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with great communication.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
• Comfortable in the water and active on your feet.
• Previous teaching or swim experience a plus, but not required—paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Train with an experienced mentor to learn our proven swim instruction methods.
• Teach weekly lessons and celebrate student milestones.
• Create positive, trusting relationships with students and parents.
• Keep safety a top priority for everyone in and around the pool.
• Get your steps in—active in the pool and on your feet.
