Emler Swim and Gymnastic Schools in Gainesville, VA is seeking a friendly swim instructor dedicated to teaching life-saving water safety skills while keeping the experience fun for kids aged 6 months to 12 years. You will train with an experienced mentor and lead engaging weekly lessons, building trust with families and maintaining top safety standards.

The role offers set evening and weekend shifts with paid training, ample growth, and opportunities to become a mentor or leader as you develop

Qualifications

• Must love working with kids and bring positive energy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with great communication.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
• Comfortable in the water and active on your feet.
• Previous teaching or swim experience is a plus, but paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Training with an experienced mentor to learn proven swim instruction methods.
• Teaching weekly lessons and cheering on student milestones.
• Creating positive, trusting relationships with students and parents.
• Keeping safety a top priority for everyone in and around the pool.
• Getting your steps in in an active, on-your-feet role.
• Teaching classes for kids from 6 months to 12 years.
