Njswim | An Emler Swim School in Brick Township, NJ is hiring a friendly swim instructor to teach kids ages 6 months to 12 years, focusing on safety and fun in the water.

You’ll train with a mentor, lead weekly lessons, build positive relationships with students and parents, and work set evenings and weekends with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Must love working with kids and bring positive energy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with great communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
• Comfortable in the water and active on your feet.
• Previous teaching or swim experience is a plus but not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Training with an experienced mentor to learn our swim instruction methods.
• Teaching weekly lessons and cheering student milestones.
• Creating positive, trusting relationships with students and parents.
• Keeping safety a top priority for everyone in and around the pool.
• Active role on your feet; this is an on-your-feet position.
• Teaching classes for kids from 6 months to 12 years with energy.
