We are seeking a skilled and motivated Insurance Defense Attorney with 1 to 9 years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be licensed to practice law in California and reside within the state. The ideal candidate will have experience handling insurance defense cases, including personal injury, property damage, and general liability matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a caseload of insurance defense matters, including personal injury, property damage, and general liability claims
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations
• Provide strategic legal advice and updates to clients and insurance carriers
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies
• Maintain case files, manage deadlines, and ensure compliance with court requirements

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in California
• Must reside in California and be able to work remotely full-time
• 1-9 years of experience in insurance defense or similar litigation
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience with depositions, court hearings, and trials is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple cases
