Job summary

InStride Health is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide high-quality psychiatric care to children and teens, working within a multidisciplinary team. You will collaborate with families, primary care physicians, and outpatient prescribers to meet patients' needs.

The role emphasizes compassionate treatment, thorough documentation, and active participation in team meetings. This is a fully virtual position with opportunities for in-person retreats as needed.

Qualifications

• New York MD licensure appropriate to clinical discipline.
• Commitment to compassionate, thoughtful treatment.
• Experience in medication management for pediatric patients with anxiety/OCD/depression/ADHD.
• Strong documentation skills and timely record-keeping.
• Ability to work on a care team and seek support when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, medication treatment plan, and ongoing medication management for children and teens.
• Collaborate with the InStride care team and outpatient pediatrician (and psychiatrist if applicable).
• Participate in clinical team meetings centered on patient care, collaboration, and education.
• Schedule patients and complete documentation in a timely and thorough manner.
• Provide feedback on workflow improvements and ideas for program growth and innovation.
