The Learning Experience - Ballantyne-Charlotte is seeking a caring Toddler Teacher to nurture children aged 12–24 months. Join a supportive team and follow our LEAP curriculum to make learning engaging through play, music, movement, and exploration.

You will promote social and emotional growth, help build independence, and maintain a consistent daily routine including meals and naps. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Six months of professional childcare or teaching experience required.
• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom for children ages 12–24 months.
• Follow the LEAP curriculum with hands-on activities, play, music, movement, and exploration.
• Help children develop social, emotional, and early learning skills.
• Support children as they develop independence and milestones.
• Maintain routines including meals, naps, diapering, and classroom activities.
• Build relationships with children and families and communicate progress.
• Collaborate with teaching team to provide a positive classroom experience.
• Keep the classroom clean, organized, and ready for learning and play.

As a Toddler Teacher, You Will:

Do You:

• Have a genuine love for working with young children?
• Have professional experience working with children? (Preferred)
• Have at least six months of professional childcare or teaching experience? (Required)
• Have an Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field? (Preferred)
• Have a High School Diploma or GED? (Required)
• Have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and enjoy being part of a team?
