Job summary

Trinity Lutheran Preschool is a year-round program operated by Trinity Lutheran Church. The preschool seeks a FULL TIME Teacher (8:30-5:30) to co-teach in a Montessori-influenced environment for 10-16 children per classroom.

The ideal candidate has 12 ECE units (or 6 with enrollment) and Montessori/ECE training, plus strong communication and computer skills. Authorized to work in the United States, you will contribute to curriculum and child development.

Qualifications

• 12 ECE units OR 6 units with current enrollment for 6 ECE units.
• Montessori or Early Childhood training and experience, a plus
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being
• Prepare shelves and board with appropriate jobs and display
• Plan lessons based on school curriculum
• Circle time - present songs, finger play and movement activities
• Hold Parent Conferences to share observations, based on records and assessment
• Maintain cleanliness and documentation requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• 12 ECE units OR 6 units with current enrollment for 6 ECE units.
• Montessori or Early Childhood training and experience, a plus
