Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a .NET Developer to join the application team within a large financial services organization. You will analyze, enhance, and modernize critical systems supporting producer management and enterprise functions.

You will work with an established development team and cross-functional partners to drive platform improvements, deliver technical deliverables, and own projects end-to-end with minimal direction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with C# / .NET Core development.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and backend systems.
• Experience with frontend UI frameworks such as React or Blazor.
• Ability to work independently and own projects end-to-end.
• Experience using AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to improve coding efficiency.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka)
• Background in financial services, insurance, or regulated systems

Responsibilities

• Analyze and support C#/.NET applications and APIs to understand system architecture.
• Modernize legacy systems through upgrades, enhancements, and refactoring.
• Support system integrations across producer management and enterprise platforms.
• Build proofs-of-concept to validate modernization approaches.
• Create concise technical documentation (analysis, recommendations, future-state designs).
• Collaborate with engineering, legal, and compliance teams for updates and alignment.
• Own and deliver assigned projects from analysis to execution with minimal direction.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across applications.

The .NET Developer will support an application team within a large financial services organization. This role is responsible for analyzing, enhancing, and modernizing business-critical systems that support producer management and related enterprise functions.

This individual will work closely with an established application development team and cross-functional stakeholders, including legal and compliance partners, to support ongoing platform improvements and modernization efforts. The ideal candidate is a self-driven engineer who can independently own technical deliverables and operate effectively with minimal direction.

• Analyze and support C#/.NET applications and APIs, gaining a strong understanding of system architecture and functionality
• Execute on modernization efforts, including upgrades, enhancements, and refactoring of legacy systems
• Evaluate and support system integrations across producer management and enterprise platforms
• Build proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate technical approaches and modernization strategies
• Create clear, concise technical documentation (system analysis, recommendations, future-state designs)
• Partner with engineering, legal, and compliance teams to implement updates and ensure system alignment
• Own and deliver on assigned projects independently, from analysis through execution, with minimal direction
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across applications
