Job summary

Zühlke in the United States is seeking a skilled Fullstack Java & React Engineer to design and deliver high‑performance web applications across frontend and backend layers using Java, Spring Boot, React, and Next.js.

You will own features end‑to‑end, with a strong emphasis on clean architecture, usability, reliability and maintainability, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Professional experience developing applications with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Next.js and modern frontend development practices.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and clean architecture.
• Experience working with relational databases and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with containerized environments and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in agile and collaborative development environments.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full application stack.
