CLEAR is hiring a Fullstack Software Engineer to advance the next generation of its secure identity platform. You’ll own designs from architecture to deployment, collaborating with Product, Design, Security, and Operations to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

With a builder mindset, you’ll tackle ambiguity, drive projects end-to-end, and improve system reliability and developer experience. The role emphasizes ownership and cross-functional collaboration, with a competitive total rewards

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience with Python, React, and TypeScript.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, APIs, and modern software architecture.
• Experience building and operating cloud-native apps on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes.
• History of owning complex cross-functional projects from idea to production.
• Excellent communication to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and delivering results independently.
• Collaborative mindset and passion for improving engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications powering CLEAR’s platform.
• Own projects end-to-end from discovery to rollout and support.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, Security, and Ops to translate problems into scalable solutions.
• Improve reliability, performance, testing, observability, and developer experience.
• Contribute to architectural decisions to enhance scalability and security.
• Collaborate through code reviews and sharing engineering best practices.
