Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Fullstack Developer to join its team in Washington, D.C. You will contribute across the full agile development life cycle, building React-based interfaces and Ruby on Rails API gateways that connect to Java Spring Boot microservices.

You will design, develop and test front-end and back-end components, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure secure, scalable, and accessible solutions for federal clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with React.js, TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Strong CSS/SASS, responsive design, and UI best practices.
• Experience with state management (Redux/Context).
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails for API layers and HTTP client integration.
• Experience with Java 11+ and Spring Boot microservices.
• REST API design, JSON handling, and SOA/microservices patterns.
• Testing with Jest and React Testing Library; Git and Agile workflows.
• Experience delivering multiple web apps in production using Java/JS/Ruby.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain user-facing apps with React.js and modern frontend tech.
• Develop and enhance Ruby on Rails API gateway layer to integrate with Java microservices.
• Support backend microservices with Java Spring Boot.
• Analyze requirements and write robust, debuggable code.
• Write tests for front-end components and API integrations.
• Identify defects and ensure seamless cross-stack integration.
• Collaborate with UX/UI to implement accessible interfaces.
• Configure deployments and develop product prototypes.
