Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a seasoned Fullstack Developer to join our federal tech team in the United States. You will build user-facing applications with React.js, wire Rails API gateways to Java microservices, and support backend services with Spring Boot.

The role requires strong React/TypeScript skills, Java/Spring Boot experience, and a solid foundation in RESTful APIs, testing, and modern frontend practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with React.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with CSS/SASS, responsive design, and front-end best practices.
• Experience with state management patterns (Redux/Context API).
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails for API layers and HTTP client integration.
• Experience with Java 11+ and Spring Boot for microservices.
• REST API design, JSON handling, and SOA/microservices patterns.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
• Git version control and agile workflows; production web apps in Java/JS.
• Minimum 2 years with Java MVC or JS/mobile frameworks (Spring, Angular, NodeJS, ReactJS).
• Proven HTML5/CSS3 in multiple responsive apps.

You are:

We are seeking a Fullstack Developer to join our team and contribute to the full agile development life cycle. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React and modern frontend development, proficiency in Ruby on Rails for API integration layers, and experience with Java Spring Boot for backend services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver technical solutions in an agile environment.

What you do:

What you need:

• minimum 3 years of experience and strong proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with CSS/SASS, responsive design, and front-end development best practices.
• State management patterns (Redux, Context API, or similar).
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, particularly API-only applications and HTTP client integration patterns.
• Experience with Java 11+ and Spring Boot for microservices development.
• REST API design, consumption, and JSON data handling.
• Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices patterns.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library,
• Git version control and agile development workflows, Experience developing multiple web applications in production using Java, Javascript, or dynamic languages such as Grails or Ruby on Rails.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Java-based MVC frameworks (e.g., Spring MVC, Spring Boot) or Javascript/Mobile frameworks (e.g., Angular, NodeJS, ReactJS).
• Proven experience using HTML5/CSS3 in multiple responsive web applications.

Preferred Skillset

• Bachelor's degree in a computer science/computer discipline

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
