Job summary

Stable Sea Inc. builds infrastructure for cross-border stablecoin payments and treasury management. You will work directly with the CTO and founding team on architecture and implementation, owning the work end-to-end.

This senior role rewards autonomy and strong technical ownership in a small, fast-moving team. You’ll focus on core money movement APIs, bank and rails integrations, and scalable backend services in Go, with high-quality TS/React components and robust observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering with Go and TS.
• Fintech/payments or financial infrastructure background.
• Strong systems design instincts and ability to reason about trade-offs.
• Experience running production systems at scale with observability and reliability.
• Self-directed with comfort in ambiguity.
• Familiarity with AI tools and understanding of their impact.

Stable Sea builds infrastructure for cross-border stablecoin payments and treasury management. We're a small team and the systems we build move real money across multiple rails.

This is a senior, high-ownership role. You'll work directly with the CTO and founding team on architecture and implementation. If you're energized by hard infrastructure problems and can operate without close management, this is the right environment.

How We Work

We move fast and keep process to a minimum. We own our work end-to-end, collaborate directly with whoever we need to, and move things forward without waiting for permission or close supervision. Async by default: written communication does the work that meetings do elsewhere.

AI is core to how we build. We provide a generous token budget because we expect people to use it seriously. Everyone on the team is actively experimenting with new tools, tuning their workflows, and thinking about what's possible today that wasn't weeks or months ago.

What You'll Build

• Core money movement APIs and transaction infrastructure.
• Integrations with banks, payment rails, and stablecoin networks.

Who We're Looking For

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with strong Go and TypeScript proficiency.
• Deep background in fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure: money movement, ledgering, or transaction systems.
• Strong systems design instincts. You reason through trade-offs and communicate your thinking clearly.
• Experience building and running production systems at scale: observability, reliability, graceful degradation.
• Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity.
• You use AI tools well and can demonstrate understanding about what you've built.

Nice to Have

• Stablecoin, DeFi, or blockchain protocol experience.
• Cross-border payments, remittance, or treasury management systems.
• Prior founding or early-stage engineering experience.
• Experience with compliance, KYC/AML, or regulated financial systems.
