Job summary

Noveo is seeking a Lead/Senior Fullstack developer to join our team, combining Node.js/Express backend work with Vue.js frontend and AI-assisted tooling. You will drive feature development for a B2B event platform, shaping APIs, data models, and performance strategies.

Strong leadership, experience with cloud infra, CI pipelines, and observability is essential. This role supports EU-based remote work with opportunities for growth and learning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and shipping production web apps in senior/lead roles.
• Experience with document-oriented, relational, time-series DBs (CouchDB, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB) and Redis caching.
• Strong testing, observability, and performance practices (Mocha, Karma, Jenkins or similar).
• Experience with AWS, Docker and infrastructure as code.
• AI-assisted development using Claude as part of software development.
• Proven leadership delivering SaaS in high-availability, real-time, or high-traffic environments.

Responsibilities

• 60% Fullstack feature development with Vue.js on the web and Node.js/Express microservices on the backend; design APIs and data models on CouchDB, TimescaleDB, and Redis.
• 25% Quality, performance, reliability: unit/integration/e2e tests, CI monitoring, profiling, and logging/observability (Datadog, Elastic).
• 15% Technical leadership and support: code reviews, standards, architecture decisions, mentoring, production issue resolution.

Requirements

• 8+ years building and shipping production web applications, with significant time in senior or lead full-stack roles.
• Hands-on experience with document-oriented, relational, and time-series databases (CouchDB, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB) and caching with Redis.
• Strong testing, observability, and performance practices (Mocha, Karma, Jenkins or similar).
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and infrastructure as code.
• AI-assisted development: using tools like Anthropic's Claude as a natural part of building software.
• Technical leadership: Proven record of delivering business-critical SaaS in high-availability, real-time, or high-traffic environments.
