Job summary

Nexzentek in Plano, TX, seeks a seasoned Full Stack Developer (Node.js, TypeScript, React) to design, build, and optimize scalable web apps. You will work across frontend and backend, implement micro frontend architectures, and contribute to API design and cloud deployment.

Responsibilities include building RESTful services with NestJS/Node, deploying on AWS ECS, managing IaC with Terraform, and shaping CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on experience in Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
• Strong experience developing modern web applications using React 18.x, React Hooks, reusable components, and state-management patterns.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing Micro Frontend architectures and modular, reusable React applications.
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs using Node.js and NestJS, including API design, validation, authentication, authorization, error handling, and documentation.
• Strong experience with Prisma ORM and PostgreSQL, including relational data modeling, schema design, migrations, queries, and database performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions for source control, branching, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience deploying and supporting containerized applications using AWS ECS and integrating services with AWS API Gateway and Route 53.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for AWS infrastructure provisioning and Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of modern web security practices, including JWT/OAuth-based authentication, authorization, API security, and secure coding practices.
• Strong understanding of application performance, scalability, fault tolerance, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
