Job summary

Good co India is seeking an experienced Senior Software Architect to design and lead scalable, secure, high-performance full-stack applications.

You will define end-to-end architecture across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure, mentor engineers, and drive modernization with CI/CD, DevOps, and security best practices. Collaboration with product, UI/UX, QA, and security teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of professional experience in full-stack software development, system design, and application architecture.
• Strong experience across frontend and backend with modern web technologies.
• Hands-on expertise in React.js, Angular, or Vue.js, with Node.js, Java, .NET, or Python.
• Proven experience designing microservices, distributed systems, REST/ GraphQL APIs, and event-driven apps.
• Experience with cloud providers and cloud-native architecture.
• Knowledge of security, performance, scalability, and clean architecture.

• Design and lead the architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack applications.
• Define end-to-end technical architecture across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and integrations.
• Translate business and technical requirements into robust, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
• Lead the development of modern web applications using technologies such as React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Java, .NET, or Python.
• Design RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Establish application architecture standards, coding guidelines, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database architectures.
• Lead cloud-native application design and deployment across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Drive application modernization, legacy-system transformation, and cloud migration initiatives.
• Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, availability, security, and reliability requirements.
• Conduct architecture, code, security, and technical design reviews.
• Implement and promote CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps, monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX teams, developers, DevOps, QA, security, and business stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve complex technical, architectural, performance, and integration challenges.
• Mentor senior developers and engineers and provide technical direction across development teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5 to 10 years of professional experience in full-stack software development, system design, and application architecture.
• Strong experience across both frontend and backend development with proficiency in modern web technologies.
• Hands-on expertise in React.js, Angular, or Vue.js, along with Node.js, Java, .NET, or Python.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.
• Proven experience designing microservices, distributed systems, REST/GraphQL APIs, and event-driven applications.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, database design, performance tuning, caching, and data modeling.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native application architecture.
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and secure API design.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or cloud-based messaging services.
• Knowledge of application performance optimization, scalability, monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Experience leading technical initiatives, conducting architecture reviews, and mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to make architecture decisions while balancing scalability, maintainability, security, cost, and business requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
• Relevant cloud, software architecture, or technology certifications are preferred.
