Job summary

Stealth Startup in San Francisco seeks a Full Stack / AI Engineer (New Grad) to craft the intelligence layer of modern manufacturing. You’ll own projects end-to-end from idea to production, spanning frontend, backend, AI agents, and integrations with ERP/CRM systems.

Ideal candidates excel across frontend/back end, data, and AI, and can operate in ambiguity with strong collaboration and communication skills. This is a hands-on, in-person role based in SF.

Responsibilities

Job description

We’re looking for a Full Stack / AI Engineer (New Grad) to join our team and help build the intelligence layer of modern manufacturing.

This is a zero-to-one role where you’ll take ownership of large, ambiguous problem areas and turn ideas into production-ready AI products used every day by sales teams, operators, and plant managers.

You’ll work across the entire product stack—from frontend and backend development to AI agents, integrations, infrastructure, and product design.

What You’ll Work On

In your first 30 days, you may:

• Visit a customer plant or office to understand existing workflows and translate real-world challenges into product requirements.
• Build end-to-end AI agents for complex workflows such as quoting, pricing, inventory management, procurement, and scheduling.
• Design and develop integrations with ERP and CRM systems.
• Prototype new product features, test them with real customers, and iterate based on feedback.
• Design simple, intuitive, and high-impact product experiences.
• Build core product features across both frontend and backend.
• Develop infrastructure that keeps AI agents reliable, scalable, and production-ready.
• Evaluate and deploy new AI capabilities and models.

• Has strong full-stack engineering skills and is comfortable working across frontend, backend, data, and AI.

• Enjoys operating in ambiguous environments and figuring things out independently.
• Has strong product instincts and can think like an engineer, product manager, designer, and data engineer when needed.
• Is comfortable getting deep into technical problems while also knowing when to leverage AI-assisted development tools to move quickly.
• Can explain complex technical systems clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Is highly collaborative, curious, and motivated by building products that solve real-world problems.
• Is based in San Francisco or willing to relocate.
• Is comfortable working in person and believes that sometimes the best solutions come from sitting together at a whiteboard.
