Job summary

Stealth Startup is hiring a Full Stack / AI Engineer with 3–4 years of experience to build the intelligence layer of modern manufacturing. This zero-to-one role lets you own ambiguous problems and deliver production AI agents used by sales teams and plant managers.

You’ll work across the full stack—from frontend to AI agents, integrations, and infrastructure—ship features quickly and iterate with real customers. Strong collaboration and in-person work are expected in SF.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Experience building and shipping production-grade applications across frontend and backend.
• Hands-on experience working with LLMs, AI APIs, AI agents, or AI-powered applications.
• Ability to take ownership of a feature or problem from concept → prototype → production.
• Comfortable working across different areas of the stack, including UI, backend services, APIs, databases, integrations, and AI workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate straightforward tasks while maintaining strong engineering judgment.
• Ability to explain complex technical systems clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and product-thinking skills.
• Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate.
• Comfortable working in person and collaborating closely with the team.

Responsibilities

• Visit a customer plant to understand workflows and translate real-world challenges into product requirements.
• Build end-to-end AI agents for complex workflows such as quoting, pricing, inventory management, procurement, and scheduling.
• Plan and build integrations with ERP and CRM systems.
• Prototype new product features, test them with real customers, and iterate based on feedback.
• Build core product features across frontend and backend.
• Develop infrastructure that keeps AI agents reliable in real-world production environments.
• Evaluate, integrate, and deploy new AI capabilities and LLM models.

We’re looking for a Full Stack / AI Engineer with 3–4 years of experience to join our team and help build the intelligence layer of modern manufacturing.

This is a zero-to-one role where you’ll take ownership of meaningful, ambiguous problems and build production AI agents used daily by sales teams, operators, and plant managers.

You’ll work across the full product stack—from frontend and backend development to AI agents, integrations, infrastructure, and product experiences.

What You’ll Work On

In your first 30 days, you may:

• Visit a customer plant or office to understand existing workflows and translate real-world challenges into product requirements.
• Build end-to-end AI agents for complex workflows such as quoting, pricing, inventory management, procurement, and scheduling.
• Plan and build integrations with ERP and CRM systems.
