Safe N Sound YMCA in Naperville, IL, is hiring Youth Enrichment Instructors to promote learning, character development and healthy living in child-centered after-school settings. You will work on-site at elementary school locations with a focus on safety and engagement for participants.

The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to youth development and equity, with a consistent weekday schedule and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• 17+ years old with relevant experience or coursework in childcare, education, or recreation.
• Strong communicator, enthusiastic leader, and passionate about youth development and equity.

Job Location: Safe N Sound YMCA - Naperville, IL 60564 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $18.50 - $19.00 Hourly Youth Enrichment Instructors will assist in providing child-centered environments that promote learning, character development, positive & nurturing relationships and healthy living on-site at one of our elementary school locations. The YEI plays a key role in ensuring that program participants have a safe, supportive, interactive and enriching program experience while ensuring the safety and security of all program participants.

Child Abuse Prevention – Supports the YMCA’s commitment to child abuse prevention by:
