Job summary

Agri Supply Co in Lumberton, NC is hiring for a full-time yard/assembly associate. You will greet customers, assist with loading merchandise, and operate equipment such as forklifts to move inventory.

You will also read blueprints, assemble components, and perform preventative maintenance to keep the yard and shop safe and organized. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift experience or certification within 90 days, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous assembly experience or schooling preferred.
• Forklift experience; certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Physical stamina and dexterity for small parts.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers on the yard to provide a positive experience.
• Review loading tickets and load merchandise into customers' vehicles manually or with equipment.
• Unload and prep incoming yard freight; move inventory to designated locations.
• Follow safety guidelines and perform audits and safety checks.
• Install trailers, tool boxes, inflate tires, and prepare equipment for customers.
• Read blueprints and assembly instructions; use hand tools and machines to assemble parts.
• Maintain equipment via preventative maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Keep yard and shop clean and organized; perform other duties as assigned.
