Job summary

North Star Diagnostic Imaging in Denton, Texas, is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray exams in a busy outpatient setting. The role offers cross-training into CT or MRI for motivated individuals.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with no weekends or on-call. Requires MRT certification and ARRT (R); CPR preferred. Excellent patient care and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Medical Board (MRT) General certification is required.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations according to established protocols.
• Verify patient identity, review physician orders, and obtain appropriate patient history.
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and image quality.
• Educate patients about their exam and answer questions to provide an exceptional patient experience.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the RIS/PACS and EMR systems.
• Perform daily quality control procedures and ensure imaging equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards, infection control policies, HIPAA, OSHA, and company procedures.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, referring providers, and fellow team members to provide outstanding patient care.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain professional competency.
• Cross-train into CT or MRI as opportunities become available.
• Assist with departmental workflow and other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

North Star Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our team in Denton, Texas. This is a full-time opportunity in a busy outpatient imaging center where you'll perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations while providing exceptional patient care. This position also offers an excellent opportunity to cross-train into CT or MRI for motivated candidates looking to expand their skills.
