Job summary

North Star Diagnostic Imaging, LLC in Denton, TX is seeking a compassionate X-Ray Technologist for a full-time outpatient role. You will perform diagnostic X-ray exams, verify orders, and maintain patient comfort and safety. The position offers opportunities to cross-train into CT or MRI for motivated individuals.

You will work a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with no weekends or on-call. Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork are essential for success in this collaborative

Qualifications

• Current Texas MRT General certification is required.
• ARRT (R) certification is required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations according to established protocols.
• Verify patient identity, review physician orders, and obtain appropriate patient history.
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and image quality.
• Educate patients about their exam and answer questions to provide an exceptional patient experience.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in RIS/PACS and EMR systems.
• Perform daily quality control procedures and ensure imaging equipment is safe and efficient.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards, HIPAA, OSHA, and institutional procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff to deliver outstanding patient care.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain professional competency.
• Cross-train into CT or MRI as opportunities arise.
• Support departmental workflow and other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

North Star Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our team in Denton, Texas. This is a full-time opportunity in a busy outpatient imaging center where you'll perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations while providing exceptional patient care. This position also offers an excellent opportunity to cross-train into CT or MRI for motivated candidates looking to expand their skills.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• No weekends or on-call

Requirements

• Current Texas Medical Board (MRT) General certification (Limited and Non-Certified not applicable)
• ARRT (R) certification
• Current CPR certification (preferred)
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
