Oriental Trading Company, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely operate stock picking and forklift equipment at heights up to 40 feet, replenishing merchandise across warehouse locations. The role offers $18/hour with a $2 swing-diff for certain shifts and potential performance bonuses.

Location is La Vista, NE. Physically demanding work includes lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to follow safety guidelines including horns and lights.
Average reading and counting skills.
Physical ability to walk, stand, squat, bend repeatedly.
Able to lift up to 35 lbs frequently and carry 4 ft.
Occasionally lift 75 lbs.
Occasionally push/pull totes up to 50 lbs.
Work in elevated areas up to 28 ft.
Reach heights up to 6 ft.
Climb stairs and use step stools.

Responsibilities

Safely operate order picker, forklift, pallet jack, turret truck and related equipment to move product throughout the warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks.
Check work for quality and accuracy to ensure a great customer experience.
Interact with scanners and radios and follow screen prompts.
Work independently and as part of a team to support a fun culture.
