World Electric, part of the Sonepar family, is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Hialeah Gardens, FL. The role involves receiving items, putting away stock, picking orders, packing for shipment, loading trucks, and routing shipments. You will maintain inventory in the ERP system and participate in cycle counts.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 3+ months of related experience. Forklift or cherry picker experience is preferred, along with basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ months related experience or training or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Basic math and computer skills; ERP familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receiving: read schedules and orders to determine items to move or distribute.
• Put away: store materials on racks and bins by size or code.
• Picking: fulfill requisitions and assemble orders for packing and shipping.
• Packing: verify picked products and log discrepancies; re-pick if needed.
• Loading: consolidate freight and load trucks for delivery.
• Routing: manage shipping tickets and verify method; coordinate with carriers.
• Inventory Control: perform cycle counts and reconcile variances in ERP.
