Job summary

World Electric is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our team in a full-time role. You will perform receiving, storage, and distribution tasks, safely operating equipment and recording transactions.

This position supports order fulfillment for contractors and customers across our service area. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least a few months of related experience, plus forklift/cherry picker familiarity and basic Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic math and ability to measure using common fractions and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and prepare items for distribution.
• Mark materials with identifying information and package for shipping.
• Operate forklift/cherry picker to move materials within the warehouse.
• Enter records into computer systems and verify accuracy.
• Assemble and pack customer orders, load items for delivery, and maintain orderly storage.
