Job summary

World Electric is hiring a Warehouse Driver Pro to join our team. The role involves driving a company-provided truck to deliver materials to customers, while keeping the vehicle and product in good condition and ensuring safety standards are met.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with a competitive hourly rate and full benefits. As the face of the company, you will communicate with sales staff to meet customer needs, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist in pallet construction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• D.O.T. Medical Card & Clean Motor Vehicle Record Required

Responsibilities

• Operate company equipment safely and transport materials to customers.
• Maintain truck in safe operating condition and clean appearance.
• Communicate with sales associates or manager to meet customer needs.
• Build pallets for deliveries to prevent stock damage.
• Support a safe work environment and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

As a World Electric Warehouse Driver, you will be the face of the company driving a company provided truck to transport materials to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will include operating company equipment in a safe manner, while ensuring that our product is in perfect condition and ready for our customers. The responsibilities listed below are encompassing of a Warehouse Driver but may vary accordingly.

Ensure truck is in safe operating condition and maintains a clean appearance.

Communicate with sales associates or manager through problem solving to meet customer needs.

Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50lbs.

Construct pallets based on delivery area preventing stock from being damaged on delivery.

Acts in a helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and World associates.

Participate in processes and programs aimed at promoting a safe work environment.

Perform other duties as assigned.
