Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Honolulu branch. This full-time role supports inventory integrity, order processing, picking, packing, staging, shipping, and general maintenance.

You will report to the Branch Manager and help maintain a safe, clean workplace. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, warehouse experience, and the ability to operate scanning equipment. You should be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Warehouse/Material Handling Experience.
• Operate Computerized scanning equipment.
• Comfortable working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working around moving equipment.
• Frequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 50 pounds; up to 75 pounds; PIE operators up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive product on DC Trailer and put away to maximize cube space.
• Receive product from Branch Transfers to fulfill customer orders.
• Receive product on Hub Truck and process backorders and stock replenishment.
• Pick and Stage Will Call Orders to achieve Ready Rate and customer expectations.
• Pick and Prepare shipping Orders to meet cutoff times and regulatory standards.
• Process Returns following BBX guidelines and obtain signatures.
• Prepare all Hazmat Orders and Next Day Air shipments per DOT and company requirements.
• Support team in-store to service customers and replenish showroom stock.
• Perform other tasks as directed by leadership.
