Job summary

CARC, INC. seeks a dedicated Vocational Floater to work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in our Vocational Department.

You will develop and implement individualized training programs, evaluate progress, and provide ongoing support to ensure success in the workplace. This full-time position emphasizes elevating vocational skills, promoting independence, and empowering students to achieve their goals within a supportive community.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Able to pass New Mexico Department of Health background checks.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver individualized vocational training programs for adults with IDD.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes engagement and independence.
• Provide hands-on personal care of clients when necessary.
• Assess progress regularly and give constructive feedback to maximize learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of individuals' progress and services.
