Job summary

Clear Creek ISD seeks a Visual Arts teacher for the 2026-27 school year in League City, TX. You will design engaging learning experiences, deliver district-aligned instruction, assess student progress, and integrate technology to build creativity and communication skills across grade levels.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, a valid Texas certificate for the subject, and at least one year of student teaching or internship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas certificate for the subject and level assigned.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
• Ability to instruct students and manage behavior.

Responsibilities

• Guide the learning of students in accordance with the district’s philosophy of instruction toward the achievement of curriculum goals.
• Align teaching and available resources to the District curriculum.
• Present subject matter according to guidelines established by TEA, board policies, administrative guidelines and District curriculum.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of student learning and use results to plan and implement instruction.
• Work cooperatively with other teachers to modify curricula and instruction for diverse learners.
• Maintain accurate student accounting and grading records in compliance with local and state requirements.
