Chick-fil-A Western Center Blvd is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant for an immediate full-time role. You will support veterinarians and clinic staff in daily patient care, exams, lab work, radiographs, and client communication.

The position requires flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic. You will manage duties such as history taking, patient restraint, treatment estimates, inventory, filing prescriptions, and maintaining clean rooms and pharmacy areas.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtain accurate patient history.
• Assist the doctor on duty during the physical exam.
• Aid in animal restraint.
• Educate clients on basic pet care.
• Run lab tests as directed by doctor on duty.
• Help perform radiographs.
• Invoice patient procedures and appointments.
• Fill/re-fill patient prescriptions as directed by doctor on duty.
• Clean exam rooms following every exam.
• Maintain steady laundry flow.
• Maintain a clean pharmacy area.
• Present treatment plans to clients (estimates).
• Check in and put away inventory orders.

This is an immediate opening for a FULL-TIME position as a veterinary assistant.

Working hours are:

Working Hours

• Monday 8am-6pm
• Tuesday 8am-6pm
• Wednesday 8am-2pm
• Thursday 10am-8pm
• Friday 8am-6pm
• Saturday 8am-1pm (every other Sat)
• Sunday CLOSED

• Hours can range between 30-40hrs/wk. You will have at least 1 off day during the week.
• We do require a minimum of 2 Saturdays a month.
• We are searching for a long-term reliable/dependable applicant only. Please do not apply if this schedule is not going to work for you.

Veterinary Assistants are a key team member in day-to-day operations of the clinic.

Your Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will have a flexible schedule, preferably have veterinary experience, and will have a minimum of a high school diploma.
