We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This hands-on role supports veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures, while maintaining records and educating clients.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of veterinary assistant, animal care, kennel, or related role preferred.
• Large animal experience preferred.
• Proficiency in assisting with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures.
• Compassionate, professional communication with clients and team members.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and restrain patients safely throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgical procedures, and dentistry.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately.
• Building positive client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service.
• Maintaining clean, organized, and fully prepared exam rooms, treatment areas, and procedural spaces.
