Job summary

Vehi-Ship LLC in Dearborn, MI is seeking SAFE drivers to join our team handling BRAND NEW Ford vehicles. This is a full-time, five-day-a-week role with a day shift starting at 7 AM. Drivers will locate and inspect vehicles, document damages, and stage vehicles for the drive crew.

A clean driving record, ability to walk 6–10 miles daily, and weather tolerance are essential. Must be 21+, provide reliable daily transportation to Dearborn, and be willing to travel to Metro-Detroit yards.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Clean motor vehicle history.
• Reliable transportation to Dearborn daily and travel to Metro-Detroit yards within the area.
• Must be a safe driver with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
• Able to work outside in all weather and walk 6–10 miles per day.
• Must be able to pass a background check and have no DUI/OWI or recent drug/alcohol convictions.

Job description

We are looking for SAFE drivers to join our team of quality control inspectors of BRAND NEW Ford vehicles.

Full time is 5 days a week!

Day Shift 7AM Start time
No designated end time shifts last anywhere between 8.5-10 hours.

Driver Duties include:

• Locating and inspecting vehicles
• Documenting damages to vehicles
• Staging vehicles for the drive crew to deliver

Job Requirements:

• Clean motor vehicle history
• Minimum age of 21
• Reliable transportation to and from Dearborn each day, and traveling local to additional yards within the Metro-Detroit area.
• Must be a reliable and safe driver with a positive attitude and good work ethic
• Must love being outside in the elements, and walking as you will walk upwards of up to 6-10 miles a day.
• Must be able to work, walk and drive in all weather conditions
• Must be able to pass a background check
• No DUI's, OWI's
• No drug or alcohol convictions in the last 10 years

Driver License:

• Clean and VALID drivers license for the last 3 years.
• Less than 3 points on MVR, no accidents, and no suspensions in the last 3 years.

Shifts could last up to 10 hours.
