Job summary

Vehi-Ship LLC in Dearborn, MI is seeking SAFE drivers to join our team, hauling BRAND NEW Ford vehicles from the plant to rail yards. This full-time position starts right away with a day shift and a 7AM start; shifts typically run 8–9 hours, sometimes up to 12, Friday through Tuesday.

Applicants must be 21+, have a clean driving record and pass a background check, plus reliable transportation to Dearborn daily. We offer advancement opportunities, paid time off and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Clean MVR with <3 points in last 3 years and no accidents.
• Must pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation to Dearborn daily.
• Must work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Locate and inspect vehicles before transport.
• Document vehicle damages on handover.
• Drive vehicles safely to rail yards.

We are looking for SAFE drivers to join our team driving BRAND NEW Ford vehicles from the plant in Dearborn, MI to rail-yards.

Start right away!

Full time is 5 days a week with the occasional 6th or 7th day! You will be scheduled to work Friday through Tuesday

Day Shift 7AM Start time No designated end time shifts last anywhere between 8-10 hours (typically 8-9 hours)

Driver Duties include:

• Locating and inspecting vehicles
• Documenting damages to vehicles
• Driving vehicles safely to rail yards

Driver Requirements:

• Clean motor vehicle history
• Minimum age of 21
• Reliable transportation to and from Dearborn each day.
• Must be a reliable and safe driver with a positive attitude and good work ethic
• Must be able to work and drive in all weather conditions
• Must be able to pass a background check
• No DUI's, OWI's
• No drug or alcohol convictions in the last 10 years

Driver License:

• Clean and VALID drivers license for the last 3 years.
• Less than 3 points on MVR, no accidents, and no suspensions in the last 3 years.

Shifts could last up to 12 hours.
