Olameter is hiring a Full Time Utility Meter Reader for the Huntsville, AL area. The role involves reading water meters for residential and commercial customers and ensuring accurate billing. Outdoor outdoor work and a valid driver’s license are required.

Company provides vehicle, extensive benefits, training, and a transition to piece-rate pay after training. Normal hours are 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

All of our field staff are provided with:

• Company vehicle

• Paid Training, and after the initial classroom training and field training employees will be transitioned to being paid on a piece work basis!

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for reading water meters and recording volume used by residential and commercial consumers to ensure accurate consumption and billing. May perform visual meter inspection to assess the condition and overall operation of the meter and note any visible defects or issues.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license (Must be able to present a physical Driver's License card, other documentation is not accepted)
