Job summary

Ingleside at King Farm is a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community in Rockville, MD seeking a Full-time Utility Aide/Dishwasher. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing dishes and dish room areas, with duties expanding to general cleaning and storage tasks as assigned.

The position offers wage rates from $18.00 to $20.51 per hour, with scheduling from 1pm-9:30pm, Sunday through Saturday with rotating every other weekend. A robust benefits package is provided to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions in written and oral form.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming dirty dishes and load into the dishwasher for cleaning and sanitation.
• Assist in picking up dirty dishes from various areas and transfer to dishwashing area.
• Wash and sanitize all dishes, pots, and pans per meal period; load into dishwasher with soap and sanitizer as directed by the Chef.
• Check dishwasher to ensure cleanliness and clean it at shift start and end.
• Check dishes for cleanliness and report chips or breaks.
• Fill sink with water and soap for hand washing of pots and pans; dry and return items to proper locations.
