Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer to perform full-time patrol rounds at a technology, media and telecom site in Secaucus, NJ. This unarmed role emphasizes customer service, watchful observation, and adherence to site policies while deterring incidents and maintaining a visible presence.

The position offers full-time hours with a daytime schedule and pay rate of $20.00 per hour. Qualified applicants will have security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate observations and reporting relevant information to site leadership.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in a timely and professional manner.
