Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Unarmed Patrol role in Los Angeles, CA. The position involves patrolling facilities, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

You will monitor access points, report incidents, and assist with emergency responses, while adhering to site policies and procedures. A minimum of 6 months security experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries, while reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures; direct individuals to appropriate destinations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff information.
