Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Los Angeles, CA. You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, monitor entry points, and deliver excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

This position requires at least 1 year of security-related experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work a fixed day schedule. A guard card or license is preferred, and you will undergo background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the technology and media campus, offices, production-related areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication protocols.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
