Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Los Angeles, CA. You will serve clients, conduct armed patrols, maintain access control, and respond to emergencies while delivering professional customer service.

Responsibilities include logging activities, reporting incidents, and following post orders. Minimum requirements include 1 year of security experience and an armed guard card; a background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be performed as part of employment.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public while following site procedures and access-control requirements at a government facility.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify entry, maintain logs, and report suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies professionally and following post orders.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate observations to supervisors and client representatives.
