Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed) in Los Angeles, CA. You will patrol and monitor a commercial real estate site, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.
• Licensing requirements depend on location and role.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, documenting incidents and maintenance concerns.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders; maintain detailed logs and reports.
