Qualifications

• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, residents, and service providers via site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and prepare required reports.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, common areas, perimeter locations, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorization, maintain logs, and direct individuals to locations or services.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, hazards, property damage, or policy violations to site management or public-service personnel.
