Job summary

The Westfield Area YMCA is hiring a Full-Time Two's Teacher for the Early Learning Center in Westfield, NJ. You will manage daily classroom operations and provide developmentally appropriate activities for preschool-age children, emphasizing social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth.

Requirements include a CDA or an Early Childhood/Education degree with at least 1 year of experience, plus strong communication skills. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

The Westfield Area YMCA has an opening for a Full-Time Two's Teacher at our Early Learning Center. We offer a rewarding, professional, work environment in return for your exceptional care! Applicants must be reliable, dependable and must love working with children.

Teachers are responsible for the overall daily operations of their assigned classroom. They provide a balance of activities and experiences developmentally appropriate to the age of the children in the class that fosters independence, and provides opportunities for social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth. Must maintain a safe & healthy environment at all times.

Hours:

40 hours, M-F

Pay Range:

$21.00 - $28.00 per hour; based on education and experience.
