Job summary

The Westfield Area YMCA is seeking a full-time Two's Teacher for its Early Learning Center in Westfield, NJ. You will oversee daily classroom operations and deliver developmentally appropriate activities that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth, while maintaining a safe, healthy environment.

Ideal candidates hold a CDA or an Associate/Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education with at least 1 year of experience, strong communication, and a nurturing,

The Westfield Area YMCA has an opening for a Full-Time Two's Teacher at our Early Learning Center. We offer a rewarding, professional, work environment in return for your exceptional care! Applicants must be reliable, dependable and must love working with children.

Teachers are responsible for the overall daily operations of their assigned classroom. They provide a balance of activities and experiences developmentally appropriate to the age of the children in the class that fosters independence, and provides opportunities for social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth. Must maintain a safe & healthy environment at all times.

Hours

40 hours, M-F

Pay Range

$21.00 - $28.00 per hour; based on education and experience.
