Job summary

CorrHealth is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to travel weekly among our facilities in CO, NM, TX & WY. The role is full-time (min 36–48 hrs weekly) with shifts that vary and a required compact license and CO residency. A $250 monthly travel allowance is provided, and travel expenses are paid.

As part of the team, you will support inmate care under RN supervision, administer medications, assist in procedures, and travel to designated CorrHealth facilities each week.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Current and unrestricted compact license as LPN/LVN; must maintain license.
• Must have current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assessment of inmates' health under RN supervision.
• Plan and implement individual treatment programs with input from RNs and staff.
• Administer medications per proper techniques and procedures, including IV therapy when certified.
• Assist the provider in evaluations and procedures using SOAP charting.
• Obtain body fluid specimens and perform EKGs.
• Maintain and document controlled substances and medical equipment.
• Triaging and assessing healthcare requests.
• Travel weekly to CorrHealth facilities (NM/TX/WY/CO).
