Job summary

South Central Illinois Mass Transit District in Illinois seeks a full-time Driver to provide safe, reliable public transportation for our communities. You will be the face of the organization while ensuring riders reach their destinations on time and in a courteous manner.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or related experience.
• Ability to obtain Class C CDL with passenger endorsement.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Open availability and flexibility with work schedule.
• Ability to pass a background check and a drug & alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of the company while interacting with the public with a cheerful and friendly demeanor.
• Adhere to traffic laws and drive routes to pick up and drop off community members.
• Sanitize and clean vehicles to ensure a pleasant ride for clients.
