Qualifications: Missouri Teaching certificate or Sixty (60) credit hours preferred in the area of education.

Salary: Approximately 37.5 hours per week at $30.00 per hour.

Position Summary: The job of the Title 1 Paraprofessional was established for the purpose(s) of working with individual and/or small groups of students under the guidance of a certificated teacher in the supervision and instruction of students; and assisting students by modeling the necessary skills to perform assignments.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Instructs elementary students in the areas of math, reading, and writing.
• Develops and delivers lesson plans appropriate to the needs and abilities of assigned students with various language levels.
• Uses a variety of instructional techniques to support students appropriate for the age and language level of students.
• Maintains thorough anecdotal notes for assigned students.
• Collects data to share with classroom teachers and other instructional staff.
• Attends team meetings as required.
• Provides the high-quality instruction time needed to move students to language and/or grade-level proficiency.
• Provides and supports students with social-emotional learning needs.
• Support grade-level teachers with high-quality instruction and engagement.
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as requested by the principal.
