EliteHosts is seeking an experienced Tiler to join our Akron team. You will install and repair tiles on floors, walls, and countertops, preparing surfaces, cutting tiles to fit, and applying mortars with precision. This full-time role offers visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, seaming, grouting, and sealing tiles, while maintaining safety and quality. Prior tiling experience and the ability to read blueprints are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a tiler or similar role.
• Knowledge of tile materials and installation techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints or plans to determine layout.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
• Attention to detail and precision; good hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning and leveling them.
• Measure and cut tiles to fit around obstacles and create patterns.
• Mix and apply mortar or adhesives to secure tiles.
• Ensure proper spacing and alignment of tiles.
• Use hand or power tools to cut, shape and polish tiles.
• Grout and seal tiles to create a waterproof surface.
• Remove old tiles and repair surfaces before installing new ones.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
