Cleveland Clinic Akron General's Kent Spine and Pain Institute in Kent is seeking a Massage Therapist to join a patient-first care team. You will provide therapeutic massage to promote healing and well-being while working with dedicated caregivers in a supportive environment.

The role emphasizes a range of modalities, careful assessment of patient history, maintaining clinical spaces, and adherence to safety and documentation standards; schedule is days, with no weekends.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy program.
• Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) by the State of Ohio.
• One year of massage experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• For Hospice staff: valid Ohio driver's license and auto insurance evidence.

Responsabilidades

• Administer therapeutic massage and bodywork modalities to patients.
• Interview patient to determine medical history and desired results.
• Apply selected modality focusing on areas of discomfort.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment accordingly.
• Document patient information, treatments, and results.
• Maintain therapy areas in a clean, safe and organized state.
• Order supplies as necessary.
